Katelyn Hellmer
Springfield WORKS Coordinator | Employment Specialist
Katelyn grew up in the small town of Urbana, Missouri and graduated from Skyline High School in 2016. She attended Ozarks Technical Community College and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree. Katelyn shortly began working for Burrell Behavioral Health as a Community Support Specialist in the Springfield community. While Katelyn was working, she continued her education at Ottawa University and earned her bachelor’s in Human and Social Services in 2021.
Through her work in case management Katelyn recognized the many benefits employment has on an individual’s quality of life and knew she wanted to help people through employment services. In 2021 Katelyn transitioned to the role of an Employment Specialist.
Katelyn now lives in Springfield, Missouri with her husband, Kacy and their two fur babies, Willow, and Winnie. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Katelyn is excited to be part of the Restoring Hope agency that shares her passion for helping people through employment services.
