Ashleigh Barnett
Respite Coordinator | Poplar Bluff Regional Program Manager
Ashleigh Barnett grew up in Summersville, Missouri, and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 2004. She later obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Park University in 2019.
With a professional background spanning retail, banking, education, and human services, Ashleigh brings a diverse perspective and strong commitment to serving others. Her passion for helping people led her into education, where she spent six years teaching and supporting students before joining Restoring Hope in May 2020.
As a Program Manager and Respite Coordinator, Ashleigh is dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and the staff who serve them. She oversees respite services, helping ensure individuals receive safe, meaningful, and person-centered supports while providing caregivers with valuable opportunities for rest and renewal. She is passionate about creating positive experiences for the individuals served, supporting families, and developing quality programs that promote independence, personal growth, and community inclusion.
Ashleigh values collaboration, positivity, and creative problem-solving and enjoys mentoring staff, building strong relationships with families, and helping others overcome challenges. She is committed to fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and achieve their goals while receiving compassionate, high-quality support.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with Josh and their blended family, including Rowen, Skylea, and Weslee, as well as their fun-loving dogs, Popper and Gator. Whether traveling, attending sporting events, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending quality time together, she values the memories they create and the strong relationships they share. She also enjoys gardening, lifelong learning, and spending time with her family, friends, and coworkers. Ashleigh is grateful to be part of the Restoring Hope team and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those the organization serves.
