Jeff Smith

For over three decades Jeff has spent his career as clergy / pastor. During that time Jeff has served numerous churches throughout Missouri and Indiana as Lead Pastor, church planter, and even associate staff. Jeff’s extensive experience as clergy has allowed him to serve and support numerous families and persons with developmental disabilities. In many of the churches he served, Jeff worked to establish specific programming for those with developmental disabilities.

 

As Jeff’s desire grew more and more to support this specific community of people, he found himself being drawn into the field of providing ongoing supports for those with developmental disabilities. Through his partnership with Chuck Swift, Jeff now finds great fulfillment in supporting these individuals as a contract provider with the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Children’s Division (CD).

Jeff believes that his purpose, mission, and calling in life is “to positively influence the lives of other people.” As a co-owner of Restoring Hope, LLC, Jeff now feels that his life mission of positively influencing others has been greatly expanded. Jeff is excited to be part of an agency that allows him to honor his personal faith.

Jeff is still married to his high school sweetheart. He and Kim have been married for 36 years and have two amazing children, JT,  who's married to Sabrina and Whitney, married to Clayton. They have one grandson and one granddaughter.
